Having such a major goal as the 2016 Nagoya Women’s Marathon really gave me the motivation to step up my training. I also returned to Rainbow Run’s running classes and followed Coach Edison’s training plan, so the EPSON RUNSENSE SF-810 became my trusty assistant for carrying out my workouts and tracking my progress.

EPSON RUNSENSE is a series of watches designed to serve as your personal running coach. Besides the basic GPS run-tracking features, you can program training sessions into the watch and have your little wrist companion remind you whether you’re meeting your targets. I used to know absolutely nothing about heart rate. Then one day, I heard that it was an important indicator for measuring fat-loss effectiveness, as well as one of the benchmarks for gauging training intensity (which, quite clearly, ranked a distant second in my mind). Just like that, I became curious about heart rate and started taking it seriously. So when I heard about an experience event for the EPSON RUNSENSE SF-810 professional running watch—with built-in heart rate monitoring and no chest strap required—I naturally raised my hand to join.
